WOW love the motion in this

the flow of both movement, smoke and hair are perfect!... athough i do feel her hair is well OTT (over the top) nice details to add extra character to the picture nice shading... i just love it... why not top marks?... looks really sketchy (i know its just a concept idea) but neaten it up and wola... lovely idea... and portrayed perfectly... :3

kamusaki responds:

thank you! im glad you like it, one of her powers is that she can control her hair that's why it's all over the place.

elengent

not the most detailed you have... but the best in posture, size and movement... add some details into it, spend more time, make lines bolder and give more movement and you have a instand hit :D

good

detail is good and well placed to create a balance (athough her boots dont have as much detail as the rest of her in my eyes) nice way to avoid hands and eyes... shading on the rest of her would be nice other then her hair and face... and that skirt really starts to show your improvment... just need touching up the lines on the legs to corospond to the boots (they seem to be going in at different angles)... one more thing... try to use plain paper instead of lined... :P (yay for school doodles)

Movement :D

Very nicely done with the flow of wind and movement in this one... top half is super!... (still requires detail and shading to really give it umf!... the legs however arnt great... if we take her right leg as the normal here... her left foot should be bent on the ground at that angle unless she has it laying flat sideways in which you need to shorten it and make it more rounded to show that... getting alot better :3

good sizes

alot better then your first one... everything is in proportion (anime style) hair isnt mono toned (has a slight highlight)... would like to see this stronger highlighted... and the rest alot darker... lines are clean... still needs shading... also i just noticed her right leg needs to be a tiny bit thinner and her boot should start futher down her leg... otherwise she has two different sized shoes :P

needs more

the head is to big in my eyes... i know its the anime style and all but thats a tad to big... tone it down a tad... line work is good and shows simple understanding of posture, right arm is a different thickness to the left... if anything it should be thiner and moved further to the right of the page... neaten up them lines... use a pen over the top if you want them bolder... simple cloth folds are nice... try adding a bit of shading to the shadowy areas to bring it out more... and try to do something similar with the hair... it seems all mono toned...

What?... a female space marine... naaah never work

things i like?... its very bright and in your face... Bold outline very common with the anime style which i can see here... however... it doesnt seem to be in proportion... she seems thin or squashed, the lights are out of aligment in retospect to the rest of the body, her right arm in that case is now to small and should be bigger and a tad longer, her left knee pad seems to be going inside her leg where as her right knee pad seems to be on the outiside and once again her left leg should be bigger (which it is) but not sideways, and her left foot seems to flat, *2d* needs to have more curve to it ontop... hope that helps you improve future work...

to dark...

ok... first thing that struck me is the lack of colour... its VERY hard to see anything... i have to really look hard to see the tones of dark umber / brown... the red is basicly the only thing i can see... i understand its ment to be a dark crystal... but its far to bland and dark to be able to see anything... i would recommend increasing the intensity of the red lights to bring out the highlighted areas so its more bold... as it stands it looks like a black picture with some very dark red blobs on... sorry but thats how i see it...

Nice...

Line work is simple and clean, main colours are quite grey and dull but you spice it up with some colourfull books to ad contrast... very cleanly coloured and shading seems to look like its all in the right place... a simple yet stunning peice of work...

Rhythm-and-Lime responds:

Awww, thank you. ^^ I'm glad I mostly pulled everything off because this was one of my first times coloring with markers. xD

nicely done

smooth contrasting shading there... very bold and clean, very hard not to smudge with pen :P, also done on lined paper if im not mistaken :)...

not so keen on the twisted face, but after all who am i to judge?... art is art... people either like it or dont... but still... its very nicely done

OzMafioso responds:

Thanks for the kind words :D And you're absolutely correct about the pen, especially with the bold lines, it's easy to transfer ink to other parts of the paper. Almost like a stamp, lol.

Thanks for taking the time to review :)
