i like how...

you seem to be adding more detail to them... i know these are just sketches and rough ideas but the pace in which you churn these babys out is outstanding!!!... you have really good art style and i wouldnt want you to change it unless your were adapting to it... they are dynamic critters, sometimes i feel that the triangle shapes used are really harsh for some of your pictures... for example the girl with the gun has a really pointy arm and it just looks odd with that little joining bit... where as the other girl is more curvy and flowing... im not saying its bad... its a cool way of using the same idea but to make two different people stand out more... the guy at the top just looks like he has a massive head... still kinda funky... but not keen on the Z shaped arm...

just a few of my thoughts... keep it up :3

BizarroJoe responds:

I liked the way that arm looked, I felt that straight lines added to the action line (How was it... "Fat Powerpuff meets triangles"... HAHAHAHAA!). Not so fond of the arm of the bimbo gal... It was really improvised and it looks somewhat clunky shaped... I wanted to look how would adding a little flesh at base of it would look and I didn't make it really good...
Well, that guy, the "Fallout Fighter"... I was really satisfied with that. I liked that crease on his sleeve... It the kind of simple solution I'm trying to research to add to my style.

Woo, Now I'm tired. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me, It's good to know different points of view. 'Till next time!

agree with shadman

right here comes the crit review... :D...

as always... lovely lines again... fantastic detail and great realistic proportions with a hint of anime poured over it... background is clean and fitting... i feel the writing *cutey honey* is hand done *as it most likey is... but it really needs to have smoother edges on it as it doesnt seem to fit in with the smoothness of the picture nor the background... you lose some of the linework *backlines* in the middle top of her chest heart... her elbows seem really odd... i dont know if its beacuse they are "scruffy" but some neatening up wouldnt hurt... lovely way of removing the hands :D... HER right leg seems alot thinner then her left leg.. love the lighting from behind shading on her legs and the realistic shine on her costume... one thing bothers me... the lower heart doesnt join up in the same place as the other side... and seems to stand out alot as it doesnt quite fit in with the rest of her costume... apart from a few issues... i couldnt really find anything else wrong with it... its lovely... :D

Outstanding work

the linework is flawlessly done, the colours are neutral and earthy... lovely palet of colours indeed... all the details... DETAILS! are bloody fan-saba-tastic!!! the amount of pure awsomeness just oozes from this piece... theres is however a few minior things such as dodgy shading here and there... but the mud/paint effects on the skin as well as a large amount of the colouring just blows away most of the artwork i have seen...

ok so wheres these minor issues?... well lets start with the boots... theres a bit of white peeping through, the colours arnt constantly blended, theres areas which are next to large big strokes of blocked colour, "scribbly colouring in" on her left ankel, the shading on the leg seems a tad rushed and could use with a bit of neatening up... you seem to loose that black line in the belt without any colour issues so its rather odd... like you have coloured over the linework... feathers and beads nicely done, not sure on the shading on her hand holding the axe as its rather harsh *i understand thats from putting her war paint on but it would go around her palm and not suddleny stop abruptly*, possbly more detail on the wooden handel of the axe and neatening up of the fur so the white underlay is either blured into the background or removed, some lovely detailing on the fur and face work is lovely along with everything else... seems like you worked down the picture and your work and got a bit sloppy due to the fact that you thought that theses areas wouldnt get looked in as much detail or just lost focus and interest...

the background is simple and crisp... lovely use of colours and artist style to block it off like that to the top with a white underlay... athough similar effect with sloppyness at the bottom with the colouring in as there are areas which seem to be lacking the quality of the rest of the piece... really like the way you constructed the trees as i find it highly realistic and artistic...

i hope you find my review of great use and not just someone who just finds flaws in it... you have fantastic potential *if not already great potentail!* but just need to tidy things up in my view... 10/10 for the quality of work as always at its truely remarkable to view!... look forward to more of your fantastic art prodects and flashes in both the art and flash portal in the very near future!!!...

i hope you never stop drawing as you are truely a master of the arts...

You totally called me on a ton of your points there! XD haha
I know you said that the point of your review wasn't to find flaws, but let's just say I agree with everything, and now I want to edit the hell out of it! x3

Thanks, as uaual for the great review, man! :)
I really appreciate it!

totaly kickass!

i kinda feel im rating 10/10 due to the person as well as the artwork... beacuse the artwork isnt the best... but i totaly love the comic style along with the anime feel... some things that slightly bother me... the arm looks a tad beefy i feel... some more shading in places would be nice n stuff... but hey its an old piece of work... you have improved leaps and bounds since then!... and it really shows... great to see some earlyer work from you!...

You're way too much generous...!!!
I must admit I was curious about the reaction of people that only know me for the Art Portal... They could flip out.

nice colours

lovely neutral shades and earthly light colours... love the floaty effect you have going on... with the petals and flowers... however i feel her head is rather long/big, it might be beacuse of the hair is plumped up alot... either that or it seems to be looking at an odd angle... just my thoughts... very soft and pleasant... a nice piece overall but i feel that it lacking something that your otherworks have...

lovely...

not sure about that floating hat but hey...
things i like?... well the background is very themed and extreamly well done if not filtered through masks? the girl herself seems very well drawn... its nice to see more realistic curves even if the rest of the picture is screaming fantasty... the colours are deep well toned... a lovely choice of colours that seem to work flawlessly together apart from the yellow eyes that draw alot of focus... i could comment on all the things i like about it for an age... just a few nick-picky things... the *tail* seems to be sourced from her right hand side rather then centeral... the top of her legs seem odd... i dont know if its beacuse the hand covers a large amount of it... nor am i keen on her tounge sticking out... but thats about it... hardly see anything wrong with it... 10/10... lovely piece from you as always

improvement needed...

first of all.. let me point out some things...

beer belly, lack of a right arm, strange proportions, along with a very odd face...

your male draws are fab... but as soon as you try female... it all goes wrong!?... i think if you were to smoothen the lines up and give her some curves... take the chin away... more femin features... and a softly soft aproch then it would come out alot nicer... with women... its all about the curves and the lines

if you need any help just pm me :3

JKAmovies responds:

I'm still having problems. . . But as I said below, this was more to practise shading, but I should have improved the visual as well as the colour. . .

Thanks.

love looking at sketches...

love how you have just touched this sketch up with some shading and simple white lines for shine... shows you how little you can do to make an massive impact on the final product... also shows you how you start each of your pieces... a wonderfull example of pre-linework

how did i miss this for so long!?!

another wonderfull work... not sure about the angle of the legs and feet as they look slightly akward... but has your great style and colouring... 10/10!

Sabtastic responds:

lol Well I'm glad you found it! XD
Thanks, as usual. :)

getting better...

athough i feel that her arm is still to bulky... her head a tiny bit to big... and has crazy hair... its a real big improvement from the other female drawings tou have been doing... love the use of lighting with the greens and blues... the linework still needs work as i said but looking 100% better then the last try! :3... keep it up!

JKAmovies responds:

Alright, cheers...
