pure emotion

a wonderful art piece, love the use of the textures/ or textured brush to add detail, the overall details and little things here and there really help make it, the oil tears just add so much more depth and feeling to it... the red hue of the light behind finishes it off nicely, there only one small thing that i dislike, its the claw like objects been rather bulky and just black like the top right one, but that's just me... great entry for the tournament! great job

happy face :)

lovely atmosphere in this picture... it really has a dark feel to it, very nicely done with the use of color in this as well... i like how you have elongated all the limbs of the other creatures, just a few things about the picture itself, i know a chain can do it, but it just seems a bit odd (the one coming of him arm) , the fluid coming out of the tube, possibly have dribbled it out instead of flowing all of a sudden and i cant make out what the dark shape in the background is... but that's just my view points... a good entry piece!

Thanks for the feedback

lovely use of colors seen as its done by hand

OK, things that are annoying me, there's a white line top left... the clouds seem a silly shape and don't make any sense due to the nature of the black background with blue glowing floor plates, and the rabbits seem a bit random...

however, you have done a lovely job on the coloring aspect of things, the metallic effect is very nice indeed... might need to work on proportions as well as angles of things... like the wing on the right side of the picture, it doesn't seem to be the right angle, and the hand on the floor looks fat... good luck

so crazy colours!!!

loving the rustic look of it... my only down point is that it does seem rushed and messy... however that adds to the charter of the picture... nice start!... hope to see more impressive stuff from yourself in the near future!

nice... clean and simple

smooth gradient shading, simple and effective detailed background... clean cut and delivered perfectly... well done aigis

even in full screen

i couldn't understand what things where on the thing getting picked up?... you got the idea with the line work on the big robot... that makes sense... however i think you have got a bit sloppy in areas... i think even some basic shading with help this a lot and give you a better chance... because as it stands, its not a very strong piece

also looking at the score everyone else is giving you... this is give you a good idea where you stand in the whole scheme of things....

no structure...

i feel that the space hasn't been used correctly... i dislike the puffs of smoke coming out of its nose as they look odd and random, the framework doesn't look like it would move as it doesn't have enough depth, the random wires make no sense nor does the holes in the side of the head... now... your shading is whats keeping this whole thing together as such... your showing us that you know how to add depth and texture... iv seen your other work and feel that this is a poor example of what you can do...

some good linework

i feel the overall picture to too dark... but i like what i can see... i like the dirtiness of the picture... the feeling that this things been around for a while or been in a few fights in his/her time... the colors are simple to help focus on the line work... a nice starting entry... :3

dommi-fresh responds:

cheers ... it is very dark though

Good starting entry...

it has a feel dark theme about this picture i like, some areas like the lips, skin, nose and top are all well done, i feel her eye is too white for the picture... also a tad small?... i also feel that he arm is "put ontop" of her rather then part of her as there is no logical join, i do like the elbow gear and wire/pipes... i have to agree with the hand not been to a great standard as well... looking forward to more work for yourself :3
