[A little Anxious when its Dark]

fear of the dark...

now iv seen your artwork progress over the years... love flicking through your sketch books and what not... and knowing this is a quickie makes more sense seen as there's a few things wrong with it.... but overall i like the construction... do you listen to music while you work on artwork?...

own characters?....

artworks not bad... but own characters?!.... the one on the left is a blatant rip of off "candy and cola" from soda pop miniatures!.... ok sure... not all the details are there but it has enough for me to check it and confirm... now... that aside... the artwork isnt bad like i already said.... some of the lines are a little sharp and odd.. might want to work on human figures a little more, i like the light effect on the arms...

nice work... but i really think you should check out what i said...

8/10 for the artwork *regardless of the character*

overall... good work

i agree with the shoulder comment... a few things could use resizing slightly... nice details on the clothes and hair/pieces... was this in anyway based on yourself?... lol... would love to see this done properly... might also want to look at the spread hand on the floor... think her first finger is to far apart from her 2nd... yeah yeah... i know its a little thing... but they all add up :3... 8/10

It's not based on myself, but an old red-headed character from a fighting game back in the 90's. I'll have to figure out who the heck it was, because I was 12 when I thought her up. lol

Lots of stuff to fix, though! You're definitely right, there.

i like how you managed to get so much depth with only a handful of colors, although his left arm seems a lot longer then his right *assuming its behind the fire hair*... i like the coloring on the face the most as i think you spent the most time on it... anyway... looks like you had a art splurge... :3

Hehe - it only looks like an art splurge because so many of my prismacolor sketches have just been collecting dust in my Moleskine book. ;P

fantastic use of colours...

the way you have done this is fantastic!... i cant really flaw the fairy or how you have made the feel of true light... just the background and other objects dont seem to be up to the same standard which is why im giving this a 9/10.... :(

That's cool.. The focus of this piece was on the pixie, and less on the background. Some background objects are meant to be out of focus, and some foreground elements are meant to be simplified. However, I agree, it's not a perfect 10..

fab work!

took me a few moments to work out it wasn't 3d rendered... the work on the boots are flawlessly perfect... everything you have done makes it seem like part of a hi res computer game... its a very unique style... i havent see it before but i think its top notch!... :D

i do like how you draw your pictures, its a mix of anime and realist tones, normaly lots of reds in the skin tones... i do feel the anatomy on all your drawing is never right... mostly with the sizes of the head.... but you are improving greatly... also like to point out that the "gem" on the right girls chest... is that a tattoo or a gem?... you need to define it more either way as i cant tell... but not bad overall... hope to see some more artwork soon thumbxX

I always appreciated your comments & criticism the most. & take all of it to heart. I do see what your saying; & I definitely see where my flaws are. At this point my main goal is just practice practice practice. Most people do not appreciate my blend of anime and cartoonist. But it just happens to be my developed & style & I doubt I can change it. Coloring is my favorite thing to do, I love lots of reds & pinks<3 xx

The diamond is a tattoo, & I didn't want to define it so much that it takes away from the picture - I have never colored a tattoo before so it was quite an experiment. I didn't think the tattoo flowed with the scheme at all; but they're not my characters so I had no choice aha x

aww wait... come on sabs... not again!... theres a white bit where her shoe-lace/thing meets the background... how did you not see that!?... i like the detail on this... even if you do think its "moderate"... the dragon hilt, the flower patterns... freckles and what not... not to sure on the scratches.... but hey... you invented her :D...

(even if you did name her after a porn star... when you where 12... lol)

can always tell if its a sab masterpiece... you have that Sab-tastic style 10/10 this time around

long time no see...

not bad, cool idea... some of the line work looks a bit odd or messy... (i dont know these pokemon but im sure that "rampardos's" arms dont bend that way :P... the way you have coloured this makes up for the messyness... looking forward to some more artwork from you in the near future :3
